汤加丽，1976年7月13日出生于安徽合肥，9岁开始学舞蹈，曾获得安徽省运会体操金牌。毕业于北京舞蹈学院，现任职于东方歌舞团。2002年，在中国大陆首次推出人体艺术写真《汤加丽人体艺术写真》。由于汤加丽在写真集中以衣着暴露甚至全裸的形象出现，所以曾在写真集出版时引起了巨大的争议，一度成为焦点人物，她的作品属于色情还是艺术也成为了争议的中心。 绝大多数时候她在写真集中的大尺度全裸，所以有些男性购买写真集的目的并不是为了欣赏艺术，而是欣赏女性裸体。
